Early dental care plays an important role in establishing good oral health and ensuring a positive foundation for future dental treatments.
We take a patient, calm and sympathetic approach when introducing young horses to dental examinations, allowing them time to become familiar with the process and equipment in a relaxed, reassuring environment.
Our aim is to build trust and confidence through gentle handling and a gradual introduction to dental care, making each experience as positive and stress-free as possible.
By developing a positive association with dental examinations from an early age, we help young horses become more accepting and settled for future treatments, supporting a lifetime of good dental health.*
*Veterinary Assistance & Sedation
Some dental procedures, including the extraction of wolf teeth, may require veterinary assistance and sedation to ensure the procedure is carried out safely and comfortably. Where necessary, we will recommend veterinary involvement and liaise with your vet to ensure the appropriate care and treatment is provided.
